I am a criminology graduate from Vancouver Island University with a supplementary certificate in addiction studies. My passion is to aid in the lives of individuals who are experiencing Substance Use Disorder and/or who have come in contact with the criminal Justice system. Building a strong professional rapport with clients and being a constant support in the lives of those who face adverse circumstances is something I strive to do. During my studies at Vancouver Island University I have taken classes surrounding psychopharmacology, Alternative Conflict Resolution, Abnormal Psychology, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods, and Advanced Criminological Theory. I have work related experience and knowledge surrounding substance misuse, treatment, intervention, and the complexities of the recovery journey. Further, I have completed the Probation Officer-14 training courses through the Justice Institute of British Columbia and worked as a Probation Officer.
