Moved to Trnava, Slovakia to teach English and increase cultural understanding between people of the United States and the Slovak Republic. Worked with five English teachers to lesson plan and provide content for students aged 14-19 at the Stredná Zdravotnícka škola (secondary medical school) in Trnava. Lessons ranged from traditional grammar lessons to specific topics such as the US healthcare system. Additionally, created an after school program for students to further their English education and joined the Human Rights League in Trnava to brainstorm ways the city could increase it's accessibility to foreigners

Assistant instructor in beginner kung fu and empowerment classes for young girls. Collaborated with head teacher in children’s basic kung fu classes as well as self defense and verbal defense skills. Travelled with head teacher in MA to bring the STRONG program, teaching self defense and verbal assertiveness, to women and other at risk groups. Assist in vole injections, partner preference tests, open field tests, behavioral scoring, and surgery involving the insertion of a heart rate monitor in the vole.
