As a resident assistant, I cultivate both floor and building-wide communities to give ethnically diverse residents a happy and comfortable place of living while retaining them at the university. I also provide 15-hour and 24-hour on-call service to residents of the entire building to aid in any emergency response. I have partnered with several departments across the university, such as Study Abroad, Students Against Violence, Office of Disability Services, University Police Department, etc., to promote educational, healthy, diverse, and social growth programs. Some of the programs I've developed help to assist first-generation residents in their transition to college. I've helped with the evaluation, selection, and training of new residential assistants. I'm also experienced in residential support for sexual assault, suicidal ideation, anxiety attacks, and intoxication.

This is a customer service position with multiple different responsibilities, the largest being providing assistance to the residents of the hall by helping them with their needs, whether emergency or short-term. I also welcome large groups of people to the dormitory and improve overall customer service and satisfaction. In times of trouble, I play a crucial role in connecting residents and guests with the higher-ups of the building and the internal management of the housing and residential life department. Lastly, I build professional relationships with coworkers while assisting them with important tasks during active times.
