My role involves coaching and training members of staff to enable them to succeed as call centre agents raising money over the phone for the various charities we represent. This can be in the form of informal and formal training sessions, inductions for new staff, and training staff on new charities and campaigns. I also help with the dialling system, and conduct various admin tasks.

My role working at a busy Richmond restaurant was to oversee the day to day running of the floor, train and discipline staff where necessary, deal with customer complaints, run functions of up to 80 people, and organise bookings via email and over the phone.

A huge component of my role was running the social media pages, which taught me valuable marketing skills, alongside running shifts and functions and following end of shift cash up and lock up procedures.

There were a variety of elements to my role as bar manager, including (but not limited to) marketing, stocktake, ordering, tracking GPs, running shift, following end of shift cash up and lock up procedures, and training staff.
