UWE Racing is a student led racing team with the view to compete in the Formula Student race event. Within the team I am the leader of the outreach. My role is to raise money so the team can promote engineering and higher education to local schools. I am, also, a member of the marketing team which looks to gain sponsorship from companies and individuals to build to car. This has included my legal knowledge in contract law for agreements between the team and its sponsors.

I became a student ambassador in my first year of university. This role has allowed me to expand my knowledge about the university and developed how confidently I talk to people. In this role I enthusiastically talk to prospective students about studying law and on student life. This role has improved how articulate I am in a short space of time whilst talking to a variety of people.
