I was responsible for creating and implementing strategic marketing strategies to create awareness for client's new releases of motion pictures. I started as an entry level intern and was promoted to lead intern after my first semester of work. I then went on to work as the assistant to the president of the company, Paul Cohen. I worked directly with our clients, most recently, Josh and Rebecca Tickell. I am proud to have worked with them on their newest film "Common Ground" starring Rosario Dawson, Ian Somerhalder, and Laura Dern, among other impressive names. Through strategic collaboration, I maintained multiple social media platforms in order to increase awareness for the release of "Common Ground."

As a member of the Marketing and Publicity team, I collaborated in the designing, planning, and posting of information about organization events on social media platforms. I wrote blurbs for the organization-wide newsletter in addition to conducting interviews with members in various departments. I fundraised over $1,000 dollars for Chidren's Miracle Network for two years in a row and was actively involved in engaging the community in our fundraising efforts.

With four years of prior experience with Dance Marathon as an organization from high school, I joined Florida State University's program as a member of the freshman leadership team. I learned about the inner workings of the organization as it is ran at FSU, as well as participated in all Dance Marathon related events on and off campus. I fundraised over $1,000 for Children's Miracle Network and was actively involved in engaging the community in our fundraising efforts.

My duties included assisting customers with the best way to pack and ship mail, organizing and maintaining product displays in fresh and marketable ways, and compiling customer information online via Microsoft Excel. This experience allowed me to expand my leadership skills, as I often was in charge of training new employees and opening and or closing the business. Working in such a customer-focused workspace taught me in importance of communication skills both verbal and written.
