Essential to have excellent written communication and also attention to detail. Clear presentation of analysis to Charity Executives. Good team working to ensure a fit for purpose questionnaire. Working to deadlines and the ability to be self motivated as part of this role is working from home. Good research skills are essential for the planning and design phase.

My responsibilities include the care and management of 3 children all under the age of 11, including one sibling with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. The role involves coordinating and organising each child’s planned activities, multi tasking, often under pressure, and relies upon using my own initiative to ensure the smooth running of the day. Essential to be able to motivate and offer an enthusiastic approach to work I really enjoy the responsibility and value nurturing the relationships with each of the children. A calm, patient and positive approach is required, especially as I also teach all 3 children swimming skills. A clear awareness of managing the physical and emotional needs of the disabled child within the family dynamic whilst meeting the needs of the individuals within the family as a whole. A sense of humour is essential.
