Emily S. Moss, M.S., RPA, has over 25 years of professional experience in archaeology, public outreach/education, project and contract management, and creative mitigation strategies. She is SEARCH's Proposal and Project Manager, specializing in Federal contracts. She has worked for the University of Kentucky Archaeological Laboratory, the National Park Service's Southeast Archeology Center, and SEARCH. She has developed public and volunteer archaeology programs, was a founding member of the Panhandle Archaeological Society at Tallahassee (Florida Anthropological Society chapter), and served for seven years as the State Coordinator for Florida on the Public Education Committee for the Society of American Archaeology. Ms. Moss served for two years as the Volunteers-In-Parks Coordinator for the Southeast and six years as a Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) while with the NPS. She has developed and provided cultural resources management and ARPA training to DoD and has experience with Sections 106 and 110 of the NHPA, NEPA, and NAGPRA. Ms. Moss has received COTR, Assistance Agreements, ARPA, Effective Interpretation of Archaeological Resources, First Aid, CPR, HAZWOPER, and Anti-Terrorism training, and she is listed on the Register of Professional Archaeologists.
