I am an experienced art educator with a passion for lifelong learning and creativity. I hold a Nebraska teaching certificate with an Art K-12 endorsement and am currently pursuing my M.S.Ed in Art Education. I am committed to fostering creativity, inclusion, and growth in my students, whether in the classroom or through online learning.I have taught learners of all abilities, creating a safe space where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity across various art forms, including drawing, painting, mixed media, ceramics, and digital art. I also bring a strong foundation in technology, utilizing tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Photoshop to enhance learning experiences.I bring experience with various online teaching platforms, including Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas, and Blackboard. These tools allow me to create engaging virtual classrooms, manage assignments, track student progress, and provide real-time feedback. My familiarity with these platforms enables me to adapt lessons for online instruction, ensuring students remain engaged and supported, whether in synchronous or asynchronous learning environments. Before teaching full-time, I was a substitute teacher in Elkhorn Public Schools and Douglas County West Community Schools from 2011 to 2013. My earlier career included management experience at G.H. Bass, where I developed strong leadership and organizational skills.
