Currently, I am managing education programs to help researchers become more effective professionals in terms of decision-making skills, good lab leadership and management practices, and basic rules-of-the-road for the responsible conduct of research. Over the years, I have been involved with project design and coordination of behavioral and psychosocial research projects. Areas of research have focused on social determinants of health, health disparities, transitions of care communication, health outcomes, hospital readmissions, kidney transplantation as a treatment option for ESRD patients, and living kidney donation. I have enjoyed mission trips to Haiti and helping to organize fundraising events.
