I started my professional career with Concept Logistics in July of 2021 as their first ever Human Resources Generalist right after graduating from Daemen in May of 2021. Concept Logistics has given me the opportunity to explore all facets of HR, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, employee wellbeing, benefits administration, and more. I am continuously learning and growing within my role by improving my knowledge and skills, expanding my responsibilities, and helping our people. Within my first year at Concept Logistics and as a Human Resources Professional, I successfully hired and onboarded over 15 employees, introduced a HR software to the company, created and distributed a new employee handbook, handled safety concerns and policies in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, created new templates and processes for performance reviews, handled and resolved multiple employee relations issues, managed employee records, planned multiple corporate events, and much more.Since then, I have continued to grow and learn within my role by taking on more responsibilities, expanding my benefits knowledge, increasing my network of professionals, handling employee disciple and termination concerns, exploring new ways to increase employee wellbeing, growing my internal relationships, and continuing to seek learning opportunities.Human Resources is my passion and being able to balance the needs of our company and our people continues to be my number one priority. I am excited for my future and the path my career takes me.
