With over five years of work experience in environmental health and safety, I am passionate about creating a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. I have a master's degree in public health as well as an EMT certification. I have a strong background in health education, risk assessment, laboratory safety, and emergency response. I am currently an EHS Specialist at Regeneron, a leading biotechnology company that discovers, invents, develops, manufactures, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions.In my current role, I implement EHS programs and safety management systems, and conduct and develop safety-related trainings for the staff. I also manage the updates and creation of several EHS policies and facilitate safety committees and event learning teams. I have been trained in various specialties, such as laser safety, biological safety, industrial hygiene, human performance, robotic safety, and potent compound safety. I am a business partner for the labs and am responsible for presentations and safety communications to that group. I have also delivered guest lectures on EHS to undergraduate students at two universities. I use my skills in health education, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking to promote a culture of safety and wellness at Regeneron.
