I am a University of Plymouth graduate with a degree in Law and Criminal Justice Studies. I am the first generation of my family to ever study for a degree, and I have strong aspirations of becoming a Solicitor. I am currently a Paralegal working within the Medical Negligence department at Wolferstans which was voted LawNet Team of the Year 2022/23 and shortlisted for the Times Best Law Firm 2023.I currently work with two Solicitors on complex and high-value brain and birth injury cases.During my time at University, I was voted Student Ambassador for 2 academic years throughout the COVID pandemic and have acted as the Level 2 Course Representative for Criminology. I also volunteered as an Appropriate Adult supporting those who lack capacity during a really difficult time of their lives whilst being detained. I have some strong charitable connections with the British Heart Foundation and often attend many fundraising events. These commitments have given me excellent time management skills, advocacy skills, people skills, and organisational skills which have all been valuable and transferable into the workplace environment.In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, and family, and walking my dog. I thoroughly enjoy traveling and scuba diving and making the most of the outdoors.I am an experienced Customer Service Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. Skilled in Microsoft Word, communication, and tenacious work ethic. I am an advocate for diversity and equality within the legal sphere. I have prepared various papers regarding putting an end to violence against women and uncovering unconscious racism.
