My objective in shaping a career for myself is to secure a long-term growth opportunity with a single employer. Being presented with new challenges, opportunities to learn, and an environment that embraces work-life balance are also important to me. I take pride in my ability to complete assignments quickly and efficiently, to deliver a quality work product that exceeds expectations. Among my strengths and talents:♦ TRAINING – I began training my coworkers as a junior in high school and really haven’t stopped. Throughout my work experience, I’ve been formally assigned training tasks and projects by my employers but frequently take responsibility for bringing new employees up to speed on my own. ♦ PROBLEM SOLVING – As an active listener who earns trust from others, I approach individual problems logically and make an effort to assess possible outcomes and impact. For situations that affect a team, department function, or critical project, I draw on past experiences, resources, and the same logical approach to map out the steps and timing for a solution. ♦ PROCESS IMPROVEMENT – My natural initiative and ability to solve problems contribute to my recognizing areas for improvement in work processes, communication, teams, and even resource allocation. Setting the changes in motion and watching new systems come together intended is rewarding, especially when the hoped-for impact is realized or exceeded. ♦ RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT – From customers to colleagues to senior leadership, I look for and find commonality with vastly different personality types and build consensus among individuals who might otherwise be in conflict.
