I am a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Pre-Clinical track. Currently, I am a medical scribe for Florida Cardiology in the field of electrophysiology. On a typical day scribing for my provider, I familiarize myself with EKG readings, pacemaker and defibrillator device interrogations, EP study ablation procedures, cardiac medications relating to arrhythmias and congestive heart failure, and more. I am in pursuit of becoming a strong and dependable physician assistant. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I worked to excel both academically and in my extracurriculars through leadership experiences, volunteering, working as a teaching assistant, and sport intramurals. At the largest campus in Florida, I have utilized the opportunity to be a part of a multitude of experiences and associations to strengthen my passion for healthcare, helping others, and quality research. As coordinating director of Latino Medical Student Association, I have collaborated with board members and healthcare mentors to assemble resources, opportunities, and information to like-minded students. I have translated my knowledge as a teaching assistant for Anatomy to aid students in medical terminology and orientation for pre-medical courses.
