About Emily Middleton (St. Denis)

As Operating Partner, I lead Female Founders Fund's brand strategy, content creation (podcast, blog, social), and community efforts - including but not limited to our widely acclaimed annual CEO Summit and Camp FFF events; own corporate partnerships and event fundraising; and manage the fund's internal operations.I began my career as one of SoulCycle's first corporate hires where I built out the company’s first standard operating procedures, set up their national procurement system and logistics program, and led strategic operational initiatives through periods of high growth. After 5 years at SoulCycle, I was the Director of Operations of an international fitness franchise before transitioning to VC.Since then, I have participated on the Board of the Global VC Platform Community, advised for Dream Ventures - an early-stage boutique fund investing in female founders - and Order.co, an automated procurement solution for multi-unit businesses. I am passionate about climate tech, diversifying VC and the startup ecosystem, and early-stage operating.
