I am a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Currently, I am working as a medical assistant at H2 Dermatology in Saginaw, MI. I help assist in patient care, procedure prep, procedures, patient vitals, EMR preparation, examination of patients, and exam documentation. I also assist with administrative duties, preparation of specimens for analysis, and cleaning and sterilizing instruments and medical equipment. Previous experience as a physician facilitator at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, MI. Worked side by side physicians in both the Emergency Department and Advanced Orthopedics Office, as well as, taken on the role of training new hires in both departments. Proficiency in EPIC systems, PACS, workforce management, interpretation of laboratory studies, chart review and medical documentation.During my time at SVSU I was apart of the Health Professions Association (HPA) and Phi Delta Epsilon (pre-med fraternity). Former NCAA women's ice hockey player for both Adrian College and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).Current Volunteer at Christian Outreach Ministries in Saginaw, MI.
