Throughout my undergraduate and graduate career, I have accumulated practical skills that make me exceptionally qualified in the professional setting. While completing my Bachelor's in Organizational Psychology at Detroit Mercy, I gained research experience working in the psychology lab and became acclimated with the procedural aspects of conducting research. I also worked very closely with the Women and Gender Studies program which I minored in. Throughout my four years of undergraduate school I had applied for and received several grants from the department to help fund programming for various social justice issues such as sexual assault, LGBTQ allyship, and human trafficking. In my graduate school career, I have gained administrative and organizational insight from internships with NAMI Detroit and Wayne State's Center for Behavioral Health and Justice. At NAMI, I upheld the responsibilities of community outreach intern, with which I developed skills providing mental health resources to the Wayne county community. Additionally, I also gained experience with community programming, event planning, and correspondence with other behavioral health providers. At the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice, I have worked closely with the OTE department as well as the other branches of the CBHJ.
