Team member of rotational, self-managed project analyst program, assisting with research and analytical tasks in legal matters and government relations. Participated in rotations covering health law, government consulting, litigation, and intellectual property law.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct research into state and federal legislation and draft memoranda on policy and regulatory changes covering a variety of issues, from family and medical leave policies to telehealth legislation.• Monitor litigation and legislative changes, and develop tracking databases in Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and Excel to summarize and analyze developments and key points of concern.• Perform in-depth document review, internet research, and discovery projects. Summarize findings in memoranda on relevant case facts for use in developing legal strategy. • Assist with creating graphical representations and statistical analyses for trial presentations.• Serve as project manager and firm coordinator for the pro bono Domestic Violence Project, managing budgeting, logistics, and staffing of pro-bono cases. • Conduct research into case law and prepare supporting evidence, meet with clients, and manage administrative aspects of case teams for a variety of pro bono matters including political asylum cases.
