As part of the Leaders in Motion (LIM) program, I completed a one year rotation in Acquisitions – Accounts Receivable. Achievements include: reduced aged receivables, researched outstanding bills, member of two Lean6 employee training projects, and was chosen as the lead for the Monthly Receivables Data Report (MRD).• I received an award for reducing accounts receivable out of balances by $678 million. For the past three years I have worked in Departmental Reporting where I prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, always ahead of schedule, for my customers. I have improved and cleared many of the reconciliations in the accounting system. I lead my team in Standard Operating Procedure training, served as an expert, and provided assistance and insight into the process. I also developed SOPs for my workload as well as other process. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel as I use it frequently in my job.• I volunteer outside of my normal job and participate in other business functions such as human resources. I conduct interviews for new hires as well as assist with new employee orientation. For a period of one year, I was the LIM meeting facilitator and organized the monthly meeting for approximately 120 attendees.
