Since taking creative writing workshops in college, I've gathered pride in editing students' writings and suggesting how they can make their work the best version—some of which have gone on to be published in national literary magazines. As someone whose opinion can be trusted, I emphatically encourage and cheer on writers of all skill levels. Beautiful work deserves to be heard, and I have the full capability to strengthen and polish a simple sentence into powerful prose.I've got a deep love for editing and creative writing and have been published in over 40 literary magazines and journals. My works have been nominated for Best American Essays, The Best of the Net, and twice for a Pushcart Prize, as well as landing a finalist spot in various contests. In addition to writing, I am a co-founder and managing editor at Four Palaces Publishing, a managing nonfiction editor at Chaotic Merge Magazine, and a reader for West Trade Review. With over eight years of experience in the creative writing realm, I also have skills in technical writing, copyediting and proofreading, graphic design, and manuscript design.In my free time, I'm often found watching social documentaries, learning about the human condition, and reading emerging writers' works.
