One of the most prevalent characteristics that come to mind when I think about my childhood as it pertains to school is "Emily is so social, she could make friends with anybody, and frequently does." Throughout my 22 years of life, I have honed in on those communication skills in order to connect with anybody about anything. From becoming one of the Multicultural Activity Coordinators in college to studying what it takes to create mutually beneficial relationships, to working in a career that is all about communication and community, I have learned that communication is key to developing lasting relationships work or otherwise. From my experiences and growth, I have developed a great love for advocation. Whether it be for bunnies or the United State's homeless population, I want to be one of the most passionate voices at the table. Creating a sense of belonging and inclusion for all.
