CurrentAs a Research Associate II and Lead Project Manager for the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network (MOHCCN) initiative at Princess Margaret, I play a pivotal role in managing our site's participation in the MOHCCN, aimed at providing access to whole genome and transcriptome sequencing (WGTS) for thousands of cancer patients. My position leverages a diverse skill set, including:Project Management: Leading our team through the intricate processes of the MOHCCN initiative, ensuring all milestones are met within set timelines.Data Management: Overseeing the collection, storage, and analysis of extensive genomic datasets, maintaining high standards of accuracy and security.Database Design: Crafting robust database architectures that facilitate efficient data retrieval and integration, supporting our research objectives.Team Leadership: Guiding a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and driving success in our genomic research efforts.Cancer Genomics: Applying advanced knowledge in cancer genomics to contribute to groundbreaking research and improve patient outcomes.In this role, I am committed to advancing our understanding of cancer through innovative genomic research, ultimately aiming to enhance personalized medicine approaches for cancer patients.
