Wrote a child-friendly dictionary to accompany Flyleaf Publishing’s Emergent Reader Series and Decodable Literature Library. Wrote vocabulary instruction scripts for Flyleaf’s Emergent Reader Series and Decodable Literature Library Teacher’s Guide materials to align with the Common Core Standards. Other ongoing duties include the development of instructional activity tracking sheets, assisting with the editing of the Teacher’s Guides including the assessment of instructional activities for clarity and accuracy, and creating word priority spreadsheets and full glossaries for each book based on vocabulary activities. Current project involves writing Foundational Skills instruction activities to develop alphabetic phonics skills, phonemic awareness, and knowledge of language structure using evidence-based instructional methods.
