As Chief Impact Officer, I provide strategic and operational leadership to NorthRock's philanthropic strategy in concert with the Executive Board. I provide philanthropic consultation to clients and employees, partnering to help them advance their social impact goals and objectives.

In my role as President of Foundation X, I lead an innovative social impact company dedicated to empowering effective philanthropy that transforms communities. Foundation X convenes an extraordinary community of families, founders, athletes, and organizations to catalyze collaborative impact at scale. Together, we tackle urgent challenges in the communities in which we live and work, with the goal of democratizing access to opportunity so all can live with dignity and purpose.In partnership with my team, I deliver full-service solutions that support clients in effective and impactful giving. I lead clients through discovery, design and implementation of their personal plans to achieve their desired community outcomes. By identifying giving opportunities, developing community partnerships, and identifying other aligned funders, I carry out the plans as designed to fulfill the clients' vision. Served as an independent consultant focusing on strategy deployment, program development, philanthropic advising, and team management for nonprofits, corporations and individuals. Led the employee engagement program, equipping 285,000 employees to make philanthropic contributions in communities around the world. Educated and activated employees on policy and advocacy issues impacting their communities. Responsibilities included: program strategy, relationship building, program operations, communications, marketing and program analysis. •Developed and implemented innovative strategies to drive program awareness, resulting in $57M in donations and 1.5M volunteer hours in 2017•Promoted the company’s social responsibility narrative, positioning the organization to enhance reputation and brand with community members, employees and key stakeholders•Leveraged data and analytics to drive innovation in program offerings, communication strategies and operations, enabling the team to operate most effectively•Grew engagement with international employees by 250% YOY through piloting localized solutions, relationship building and empowering local leaders

Served as the Program Officer for strategic grant programs, focused on delivering safe water, increasing access to quality education and advancing innovation in sustainable agriculture. Cultivated strategic partners and built stakeholder relationships. •Created a global community grantmaking and strategic partner program, resulting in $3M in grants and 13 million lives impacted through partners and programs funded, significantly broadening the reach and impact of the grantmaking portfolio•Developed the first global philanthropic employee engagement strategy for 28,000 employees across 50 countries, providing employees with matching grants opportunities for volunteerism, board service and charitable giving•Led the strategy for determining Pentair contributions towards the advancement of the Sustainable Development goals
