Providing SAP GTS Support on a contractual basis

• Successfully managed upgrade to GTS system and Seeburger BIS5 to BIS6 with thorough testing ensured deadline was met for the 2022 HMRC Customs Declaration Service introduction. • Proactively initiated analysis to find >£600K saving from duty 'leakage' plus new process to remove future risk. • Successfully configured ‘STO SPED’ in SAP ECC to allow intercompany Purchase Orders to generate inbound deliveries automatically from the outbounds and be relevant to ‘import’ in GTS. • Managed daily tasks of SAP GTS 11 system which meant close working relationship with Shipping and Tax teams and involvement in regular audits. Introduced design changes to improve processes.• Initiated investigations into moving to GTS edition for SAP HANA in 2025 from GTS 11.• Assisted with ‘FTZ’ solution in the US - Thomson Reuters ‘Integration Point’ - to resolve problems. Initiated the feasibility research into using SAP GTS to replace the current US FTZ solution as a cost saving.• Arranged charity shoe sale and raised over £1000 for Children's Hospice South West. Investigated what was required, liaised with Site, Charity and DC teams to arrange stock, helpers, movers and advertising within the DC.

• Supported GTS 8.0 system and interface between HMRC CHIEF system via Seeburger BIS5. Assisted in upgrade to GTS 10.1. • Resolved stock misalignments between SAP & GTS. • Effectively managed Brexit readiness. Kept up to date with regularly-changing deadline and requirements for both SAP & GTS and liaised with Business and IT management.• Successfully organised changes to align GTS with S/4. • Managed business team to ensure their responsibilities were upheld related to uploading data provider files for tariff codes and duty rates. • Attended the biannual ACITA conferences to keep up to date with Customs plans.
