Currently delivering high priority projects within the Commissioning and Partnerships directorate, including projects focused on support for victims and tackling violence against women and girls.

I provided strategic support to projects and programmes in mapping and understanding key dependencies. I also supported the Programme Board by providing strategic overviews and assessments of the portfolio of programmes.

I worked on the Reconnect: Kent Children and Young People Programme which aimed to reconnect children and young people to things they missed out on during the pandemic. My role was to support with the development and delivery of the programme, including producing documents such as the Business Case and Equality Impact Assessment, and monitoring success against key tasks and milestones. I also led on specific projects and workstreams, such as delivering grant rounds to the voluntary and community sector and delivering projects for schools.

I worked as part of the multi-agency Kent Resilience Team supporting with contingency planning and response for Brexit/EU Transition. This included producing regular partner briefings, writing threat and risk assessments, delivering presentations on threat and risk at training events, and planning and delivering large scale multi-agency table-top exercises.I also worked as part of the Kent Resilience Forum Multi-Agency Information Cell during the Covid-19 and EU Transition responses. My role involved creating Common Operating Pictures, completing government returns, and providing updates at Tactical and Strategic Co-ordinating Group meetings.

Placement 1 (October 2017 - March 2018) - Autistic Spectrum Conditions Team in Adult Social Care. In this placement I assisted with transformation projects to integrate social care and health, led collaborative workshops to gather insight, and wrote reports to inform future strategies and practices.Placement 2 (April - September 2018) - Kent Fostering Service. In this placement I worked on foster carer recruitment and retention. This involved data analysis of recent foster carer statistics, conducting exit and 6-month interviews with foster carers, developing a social media strategy, and leading on the development of a foster carer satisfaction survey and the analysis of the survey results.Placements 3 and 4 (October 2018 - October 2019) - worked with the Kent Resilience Forum as the KRF Brexit Project Officer. In this placement I worked in a multi-agency environment, supporting preparations for the impacts of Brexit in Kent. I helped to organise key meetings and events, produced regular partner briefings, and delivered presentations at training events. As part of the KCC graduate programme, I achieved a qualification with the Association of Project Management and a Level 5 qualification in Operational and Departmental Management and Leadership with the Chartered Management Institute.
