Managing the delivery of the Quality Management Processes (QMP), suite of global standards and continuous improvement projects that enable the reliable delivery of products that meet all external legislative requirements and all internal Quality & food safety standards.

Ensuring that business process governance occurs through audit and verification of Mars mandated requirements. Leading and managing the Mars Global Q&FS Audit Programme (operated by an external partner LRQA) across over 200 units to highlight compliance and gaps, and to share learnings across the business.Leading the development and codification of the Internal Audit and Verification Strategy and Hierarchy for Mars Inc, and it's deployment through all levels of the business.

Delivery of projects that generated step changes in quality and food safety risk management across the supply chain. Providing a source of expertise and information on aspects of quality and food safety management including internal operations, processes and systems, to promote transfer of best practice within Mars Inc.To design, develop and support the implementation of standards and tools to ensure that Mars is enabled to operate in the most effective manner to ensure appropriate quality conformance and performance. Specific responsibility for the codifying and delivery of the Mars Inc. Mould and Mycotoxin Management Standard.

• Site improvement chemist, providing the chemistry input within a multi-disciplined improvement team. Principal responsibility is to identify lost opportunities, design, specify, cost and deliver solutions, driving factory throughput and optimising performance. • Organising laboratory support and gathering process data to enable Management Team to meet factory targets and exceed where possible. • Daily management of laboratory staff as well as health and safety in the laboratory and processing plant• Familiar with ISO14001 and ISO18001 management systems• Monitoring of site effluent treatment plant and ensuring compliance with IPPC discharge requirements• Overseeing cleaning of site cooling towers and ensuring ACOP L8 compliance is achieved during operational periods• Carrying out technical accounting of site sugar and animal feed production, generating daily and weekly reports for Management team
