Stock checks, manning tills, helping with customer queries, manning fitting rooms, keeping stockroom and store tidy, greeting customers on the door, dealing with returns, exchanges and complaints.

During the summer between my first and second years of university, I returned to my role at The Doubletree by Hilton Milton Keynes.

In this position it is vital to act with integrity at all times by knowing the hotel and surrounding area, delivering excellence by demonstrating a service attitude that exceeds expectations is also crucial.It is necessary to maintain positive and calm outlook and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Main duties included checking in and out of guests, answering and directing calls around the hotel, assisting guests with any requests, basic administrative duties including filing, responding to emails, and keeping the reception and lobby area clean and tidy.

During the Christmas period in 2013 I worked in Santa's Grotto in the Willington Frosts Garden Centre.Within this role it is vital to have a bright and bubbly personality, a positive attitude and the passion to deliver a memorable experience for each customer.
