Admissions Consulting, I’ve spent over 25 years offering highly personalized, one-on-one guidance to students and families navigating the college and graduate admissions process. Drawing on my experience as a former Columbia University admissions officer, I provide each client with tailored strategies designed to maximize their potential for admission to highly selective institutions.Key Responsibilities:· Individualized consulting for both domestic and international applicants, guiding them through every step of the admissions journey - from thoughtfully navigating high school and identifying colleges and universities that fit to perfecting personal statements and preparing for interviews.· Guided strategic approach to the admissions process that highlights each student’s unique strengths, passions, and academic potential, ensuring that applications stand out to selective and highly-selective colleges.· Provide insight into the admissions process, informed by my experience at Columbia University and years of consulting, to demystify selection criteria and offer expert advice on how to approach competitive application pools.· Mentor students in discovering and pursuing their academic and extracurricular interests, encouraging them to find balance and growth throughout the process.· Maintain memberships with leading professional associations (NACAC and AIGAC) to stay at the forefront of admissions trends and best practices.· Frequently lecture, lead workshops, and serve on panels discussing college and graduate admissions.By working with a limited number of students each year, I ensure that every client receives thoughtful, tailored guidance, allowing them to approach the admissions process with confidence and clarity.In addition to my comprehensive approach, stand-alone Strategy Sessions are available.
