• Worked with the committee to plan and supervise UCL Japan Society’s social events, cultural workshops, language lessons and career networking panels.

My role as the Course Representative for Biomedical Sciences meant becoming a member of the Staff-Student Consultative Committee (SSCC). This includes training, meetings in the department and consulting with students to collect feedback. My position plays an active role in Students’ Union activities and campaigns, in addition to working with the Faculty Representatives and Professors on Faculty-wide issues and developments.

• I taught art from children to adults using various mediums including pencil / charcoal sketching, pastels, watercolour and oil painting at an international art school Artloft in Tokyo once a week.

• Raised awareness and educated about climate science and environmental protection weekly.• Wrote the weekly Environmental Society Newsletter that was read by Rossall School associates including students, guardians, staff and alumni.• Planned monthly Vegetarian Days for the whole school to reduce carbon footprint of food. • Initiated a £15,000 green house and orchard project which took place next to the school to increase the consume of locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs in school lunches.
