I am currently the Childrens Librarian at the Norwood Public Library. I plan and execute youth-related programs, perform outreach to local organizations on behalf of the Library, provide circulation assistance to patrons, and perform basic circulation tasks and collection maintenance. I perform collection development and also help to create content for the library's social media outlets, and create in-house flyers, handouts, and other desktop publishing.I am the current Social Media Coordinator for the Media Farmers Market. I create and manage content for the Market's weekly newsletter and social media outlets. I have been a dedicated Fair Trade advocate through America's First Fair Trade Town Committee. I have attended both national and international Fair Trade conferences. I currently create the monthly newsletter.I own and maintain the blog and social media accounts for Ms. Emily Librarian. This is a "bookstagram" profile I maintain to keep in touch with popular reads, trends in the publishing industry, and news relating to books and libraries. On this blog I post book reviews, news relating to books and libraries, and other miscellaneous content.
