Emily currently leads the PMO function at Magic Leap, reporting directly to the COO. This function works closely with leadership across the product, engineering, and business organizations to address challenges and opportunities across the company, help drive the long-term vision, and provide decision support for the planning & steering of the business directly to the executive leadership team and CEO.An operations professional with a unique combination of business strategy, process, and program management expertise - Emily is passionate about working with companies to build and scale. She is highly skilled and successful in leading complex teams and programs in a matrix organization with a proven ability to evaluate organizational needs and develop, lead, and execute highly cross-functional initiatives. Serving as a strong partner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, Emily has direct experience in the following areas: People, Finance, G&A, as well as technical/product teams – leading international expansion, company restructuring (costs and process), and business development opportunities.Prior to joining Magic Leap, Emily helped to scale two “startup” teams at Google. Emily began her career in film, assisting several different film producers on production as well as by-passing the mailroom at CAA to manage the desk of a Motion Picture Literary Agent with Academy Award winning clients. Graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, with an honors thesis delving into “The Future of the Movie Theater,” the intersection of film and tech in Emily’s career has been a natural progression.A native New Yorker, Emily has also been based in Los Angeles and currently resides in Miami.
