Emily Ackland is the Chief Counsel at National Storage, Australasia's largest self-storage provider, and the first internally managed, fully integrated owner-operator of self-storage centres to be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Previously, Emily worked for Canstar, one of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2018 Australian winners. Emily advised on a range of matters from financial services to digital, media and everything in between. Emily spent over 10 years in private practice advising on capital raisings, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, business sales, managed investments, private equity and compliance. She also has expertise in the business aspects of franchising, including reviewing agreements and advising on sales, disputes and compliance.
