Worked on an effort to preprocess and store large amounts of data obtained from performing fuzz testing on various applications. Fuzz testing injects random and malformed data into an application to try to detect vulnerabilities. This sorted data would later be used to train an algorithm to easily detect vulnerabilities in an application before they are exploited. - Wrote Python scripts to parse large quantities of text data, reformatting into JSON dictionaries - Developed a group of python scripts that queried and updated the databases - Built and maintained a database in MongoDB to store cleaned data - Built and maintained a database in AWS to store cleaned data

Developed a malicious phone charging device that could covertly steal data off of a phone when connected via usb. This project was presented to large groups of viewers and brought awareness to how vulnerable phones can be. - Led the effort to create a timeline and project plan for the group - Performed vulnerability analysis to determine what data could be easily accessed without rooting the device - Wrote a Python script using OpenCV to extract the phone user’s password from a screen recording - Used a Raspberry Pi to interact with the device and enable ADB after gaining access to the phone - Wrote Python scripts to execute ADB commands and pull data off of the device onto the Pi
