Emily Allen is currently working on her collegiate education with the goal of earning a degree in communication with a concentration in public relations. She is an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America at North Carolina State University where she plans to graduate in 2025. She is one of the three members of the Barstool Pack team, an extension of Barstool Sports, where she has been working since 2021. She promotes both Barstool Sports and student life at NCSU by managing multiple social media accounts with roughly 40,000 followers and brainstorming promotional designs that are sold nationwide. While her main focus is her career in Public Relations, Emily has also held other leadership roles that are preparing her for future endeavors. She worked with Carolina Pool Management as a lifeguard for three years promoting to a managerial role in the latter two. This position allowed her to be prepared for high-stress situations and gave her the ability to communicate the ideas of her supervisors to those that she worked with on a daily basis and the community around them. Simultaneously with this she worked in the restaurant industry with a local business in her hometown of Charlotte, N.C. She currently holds a job with NCSU as a lifeguard at the student gym where she has worked for the last year and a half. When she isn’t working or pursuing her academics Emily involves herself in student organizations. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi where she holds the position of Director of new member experience. In this role, she plans events and organizes presentations to assist new members in connecting to other members of the organization and campus life. Through this organization, she participates in fundraising and volunteer efforts for Read > Lead > Achieve. Read > Lead > Achieve is an organization dedicated to teaching children to read and giving them the tools and resources to do so.
