Quality Specialist
As a quality specialist, conducted a variety of duties including:- Conducted and reported quality management surveillances and quality control inspections to help ensure contract compliance- Assisted in execution of the corrective and preventive action program through investigation, reporting, and tracking activities- Maintained procedures in compliance with quality standards and, under previous contract, developed procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 quality standards - American Society of Quality, Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (SSGBC)Coordinator for four national level conferences (National State Administrative Agency Training Symposium) for the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium: - Served as liaison and coordinator for Center for Domestic Preparedness’ role in hosting the conferences- Coordinated with external government and academic organizations to develop agendas, objectives, and implementation strategies- Continually monitored progress over the course of the planning phase to ensure consistency with identified requirements and the scope of the symposium- Developed schedules, coordinated and conducted meetings, and ensured tasks were completed on time- Provided briefings and presentations to stakeholders to ensure all parties had up to date information- Created a detailed after action report to identify areas of improvement, successes, and recommendations for future eventsResponsible for creation of monthly technical progress reports and performance evaluation meeting presentations for presentation to government officialsParticipated in project development, including concept papers, analysis and compliation of data into finished reports, and information into user-friendly formatsParticipated in Leidos/SAIC Business Development opportunities to four Center for Domestic Preparedness proposals and a number of other government proposals.
