Being the dual Social Media Director for both company brands of The Ink Factory and Pierced, I am the curator and creator for all content published upon their social platforms. Primarily focusing on Instagram and Facebook, I create and schedule all posts weekly using both Later.com and Facebook Business Manager. Capturing content throughout the studios to create videos and photos for our platforms, devising marketing campaigns and strategies to boost our online audience and primarily our clientele, hosting competitions and giveaways to boost traction a follower count, being present and directing at photo and videography shoots, all whilst meeting deadlines.

From the opening of Dublin’s most talked about establishment, I was brought onto the team as their Head Server/Supervisor prior to opening its doors in July. Throughout this time, I was the middleman between the restaurant managers and the servers. I would be the may point of contact if any problem arose with waiters, training in new floor staff members and ensuring that tasks were being completed to the best of each employees ability during their shift. It was my duty to make sure that the restaurant floor is properly set up and closed down before and after service each day. Besides supervising the other servers, I also have a large section of tables to cover whilst looking over the other waiters sections throughout service. It was a challenge within itself but completely rewarding.

Working in the VCC for 2 years was an incredible experience in which I learned all there is to know about cocktails, spirits and liqueurs. Considering the venues small size, it was an amazing place to provide intimate and personable experiences for the guests that walked through the door. 9/10 guests had no ides what cocktail they liked, so it was a key part of my role to provide them with all of the knowledge I had that would help them find the perfect drink for their personal taste.Working in such a small team provided a beautiful atmosphere that made everyday enjoyable, even at the busiest of times. I put my love for people and Negronis down to this establishment. VCC allowed me to express myself and flourish as a server due to its quant surroundings. It also gave me a taste of management roles while I trained in new staff members and when I was in charge of the reception during the course of my employment in VCC. I became very familiar with OpenTable while being on reception, as well as how to deal with issues and pinpointing potential problems that may arise, before they get a chance to.

From working as a Social Media Intern in a fast paced creative marketing agency such as Circulate, I was thought all things necessary to run and handle accounts of huge artists and clients such as Faithless, Jonas Blue, DJ EZ and many other well-known DJ's and venues all over the world. I have the ability to create content and copy for any posts necessary to put onto social platforms no matter what the brand, as well as schedule posts through sites such as Grum.co, TweetDeck, Sprout Social and Facebook Business Manager. I have performed to a standard in which my mentor has allowed me to take initiative on some of her clients, and create, write and publish content across their social media platforms based on my own creative opinion, in which they felt confident for me to do so.
