Employment Law, Grievance, Conduct and Capability Procedures• Designated officer to the Post Graduate Dean for the management of all grievance, conduct and capability procedures and appeals. • Management of all processes relating to grievance, capability and appeals procedures• Provision of HR advice to Senior staff and at panel hearings• Responsible for the organisation of all appraisal processes including ensuring completion of paperwork, review of progress against agreed outcomes, provision of feedback and follow up actions • Provision and co-ordination of all documentation including any document bundles relating to litigation • Responsible for reporting to and liaising with regulatory bodies regarding process against requirements for developmentLearning and Development / Organisational Development• Design and implementation of the Coaching and Mentoring Programme for trainees and trainers in the East of England, including strategy and evaluation • Delivery of training courses in relation to coaching and mentoring programme• Designing matching, evaluation and feedback for peer to peer mentoring programme• Working with service managers / Clinicians to implement coaching course and mentoring strategy across organisationsLine Management• Line Management responsibility for a team of 7 that organise medical education assessments. Responsibilities include employee management self-service, recruitment to new and existing roles within the team, inductions, exit interviews, appraisals, one to one staff meetings

Recruitment and Selection• Organising complex and varied recruitment and selection centre events• Responsible for delivery of recruitment processes and procedures, including long listed, short listing, arranging and carrying out interviews• Ensuring compliance with employment law, equality and diversity standards and being aware of any potential risks in terms of protected characteristics• Assisting with running recruitment days including ensuring processes were followed, • Providing briefings to panels, and providing HR advice regarding recruitment processes• Ensuring paperwork, databases were up to date• Providing national and local reports on progress, outturn and equal opportunities monitoring data• Ensuring accurate and complete documentation• Liaising with applicants and providing feedback• Providing training to new and junior members of staff
