The Senior Director of Strategic Development is responsible for creating and implementing an annual comprehensive fundraising plan to meet budgeted income goals for unrestricted and restricted charitable giving, overseeing fundraising events, and cultivating internal and external relationships. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Director of Strategic Development will work collaboratively with Reach staff, the Board of Directors, donors, and volunteers to strengthen fundraising efforts for maximum mission impact. • As a member of the Executive Team, provide input and guidance on our strategic plan, future initiatives, and big picture. • Dedicate ongoing attention to personal and professional development for employees of Reach including wellness & training opportunities. • Participate in the development and management of the organizational & dept budget. • Lead fundraising initiatives including special events, sponsorships, donor cultivation, and grant writing. • Manage or oversee all fundraising events including developing and soliciting sponsors for events and promoting events to the community. • Manage annual contract updates, dispersal and execution. Invest in new city, county, or organizational partnerships to assist Reach’s programmatic growth. • Build and maintain relationships with those we support and their families/extended interdisciplinary teams and provide internal and external communication. • Establish and manage short-and long-term goals for fundraising activities including annual giving, endowment, capital campaigns, and special projects.• Maintain accurate records and analyze data as needed to inform goals and strategies.• Manage monthly Donor and Volunteer Newsletters.• Create and implement strategies for donor development and cultivation. • Identify and pursue new sources of corporate and foundation funding and volunteerism.

Design, plan and implement adaptive recreation and social skills programs for individuals ages two and older with a variety of developmental disabilities. Facilitate and advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities into mainstream parks and recreation programming in multiple different municipalities and venues.
