I've recently come to the realisation that I thrive on challenge and change. Without it, I get bored and finnicky. Which entirely explains my career path!I wear many hats. These include, but are not limited to: secondary science and maths teacher; blog writer; digital content creator; social media manager; casual gamer and gardener; wife of a health scientist; and Mum to two beautiful toddlers and two Siberian Forest cats.I have taught in Brisbane and in London, teaching middle school science and math, senior biology and math, digital technology, and STEM. I have been a KS3 Science Coordinator and Year 8 Science Coordinator, along with many other coordination roles on a rotating basis. I am the founder of Staffroom Stories - a blog (and associated socials and FB teaching groups) exploring the human side of teaching. My articles have been republished on sites such as School News Australia, and other teaching-focused blogs. I also wrote a cute little article for CSIRO's Double Helix mag!I managed the LinkedIn page for PROSE by Document Modelling, as well as their other digital content. I am also the social media manager for JamScene - a collaboration space for musicians, both professional and hobby.I am excited to venture forth into the change-by-the-minute arena of social media management and marketing. What can I say? I like to know stuff, and I like to put that knowledge to use.
