Emily Basham is a designer with abilities in a range of disciplines including architecture, graphic design, and illustration. Prior to practicing architecture she was the corporate manager of visual merchandising for a national jewelry firm, co-founded an artist’s cooperative where she showed her drawings and paintings, and designed several theater sets.She followed this with her studies in architecture. She received many honors and awards in graduate school, including a scholarship to conduct thesis research in Stockholm. A licensed architect, Emily has experience at award-winning firms including Perkins+Will and Ross Barney Architects in Chicago, and Schooley Caldwell Associates in Columbus, Ohio.She is as comfortable working with fine artists as she is coordinating with engineers. A creative, analytical problem–solver, her experience encompasses design, technical, and project management. Client focused, she is driven by design quality and profitable, well-constructed work. Her leadership and organization skills have resulted in satisfied clients and colleagues.
