• Responsible for the administration, programs and strategic planning of the Packard Center in accordance with its mission to rapidly translate research from the lab to the clinic.• Manage a portfolio of approximately 30 ALS preclinical research grants both internal (~30%) and external (~70%) to Johns Hopkins University.• Represent the Center and share its mission with ALS patients, families, federal agencies, industry, and other academic entities. • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communication team to demonstrate the Center’s impact and progress.• Work closely with the Packard Center Advisory Board to ensure effective implementation of initiatives, milestones, and fiscal accountability.

The Answer ALS Research Program is a multi-institutional program that is operated and coordinated by The Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins University. Funded by philanthropy, the program has united the nation's experts in neurology, neuroscience and computational biology to build a comprehensive clinical and biological assessment of ALS. As Program Director, I work closely with the Answer ALS Leadership and Advisory Board to ensure effective implementation of program initiatives, milestones, and fiscal accountability. Leading a team of five project managers, I oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of the research program across eight clinical sites and five academic institutes.
