My guiding philosophy is that as part of te taiao, we should treat it with the utmost respect and integrity.A minor in Māori studies greatly complemented my BSc in Ecology & Biodiversity and Environmental Studies, making me particularly passionate about combining Western science with mātauranga Māori to achieve holistic and future-focussed conservation outcomes.In my free time I enjoy tramping, rock climbing, trail running, snorkelling, flora & fauna identification, photography, gardening, DIY, crafting, and consuming sci-fi, fantasy, & nonfiction in all their forms!
