Throughout this role, I gained skills in communicating agriculture's story, our family farm's story and relating and directing my message to a variety of audiences. While serving as our Customer Service Specialist, I developed, lead and managed our customer service program. I aided in relations between our customers and perspective customers and are continually looking to meet their needs and wants as a agriculture service. I take soil samples and analyze the results to maintain our fertile land and continue to increase productivity. Throughout my time working at Dougherty Family Farms I have grown as a leader and valuable asset to the family farm. This event occurred at the Indiana State Fair and gave over 5000 fairgoers the chance to taste agriculture grown right here in Indiana.
