I am a recent SUNY ESF Graduate with a Master’s Degree in Forest and Natural Resources Management. I recently began my career at ERM as a Consultant Scientist.Since I was young, I’ve been passionate about the environment. My decision to pursue a degree in natural resources management came easily; spending my time and energy building my knowledge and practical skills to better protect natural resources seemed like the only natural choice. I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Watershed Agricultural Council in the Catskill region of New York and got a first-hand look at what management looks like on the ground. I learned the importance of working within your community to reach management objectives and gained valuable experience in data collection and how to manage a field season. For my master’s thesis, I chose to have a field component. Exploring different field sites and evaluating best management practices allowed me the chance to build my knowledge of practical natural resources management and explore the Catskill mountains. In my free time, I enjoy wildlife photography, skiing, camping, and fishing. I also volunteer at the Helping Hounds Dog Rescue in DeWitt, NY whenever I can.
