Growing up, my family would always take me on camping and hiking trips. I remember being the one who was most excited about all the gear we would take- especially the first aid kits! I was always so delighted to offer anyone a bandaid, sunscreen, or even take their splinter out. My love for helping people and recreating outside has been inspired by living in the Beehive State of Utah. I have lived here my whole life and I am still finding new places and ways to explore our beautiful state. For the first time just this last year, I hiked to see "The Major", the largest free-flying flag that is hung in Coldwater Canyon in North Ogden. The sunset was so incredible on the hike out, I had to add it to my profile here! When I graduated high school with my Associate of Science from Weber State University, I knew I immediately wanted to go to the University of Utah to finish my Bachelor’s. I was lucky enough to find a program that fit exactly what I wanted to study. It’s been a great 3 years studying Emergency Medical Services with my emphasis in Wilderness Response, and I am on track to graduate in May! Afterwards, I have plans to attend a Park Ranger Training Program at Northern Arizona University in hopes of eventually fulfilling my dreams of working in America's National Parks. I have learned many skills and techniques to help people in the backcountry, I even earned my Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician and Advanced EMT. I currently work as a COVID-19 tester, as well as an EMT for Youth Lacrosse games. Both jobs have let me stay in an outside environment while still gaining skills in helping people and the community. Feel free to connect with me, I am always looking for my next adventure!
