At the Hertog Foundation, I work closely with Executive Director Cheryl Miller and president and founder Roger Hertog to build new fellowship programs and improve existing ones. I recruit and assess applicants to our rigorous summer seminars, meet with and advise fellows over the course of their programming, serve alumni, manage projects, and streamline operational processes.

The Fund for Academic Renewal is ACTA's in-house philanthropy advisory team. As program manager, I handle department communications, write online content, and maintain our digital presence on our website and social media channels. I work closely with the FAR director on advising clients with major gifts to colleges and universities and assist her in maintaining our Oases of Excellence network of 80+ college programs with excellent curriculum and a mission within the liberal arts. In my role, I help plan and execute an annual conference for the Oases of Excellence faculty.

You can find me writing materials for publications and digital content, researching higher education policy and SEO best practices, supporting ACTA's campus programs, and expanding FAR's digital presence.

Assisted in teaching a political science class to 250+ students. Hosted Zoom lectures with 150+ participants, met with students individually and in groups, and assisted the professor.

Performed as principal flute with the Beijing Conservatory and Indianapolis Symphonies, and principal for the BYU Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestras and Wind Symphony. Competed as a top 10 finalist in the 2021 Mika Hasler Competition in Houston, Texas and won the 2018 Da Capo Alliance Prize in Paris, France. Experience playing with orchestra, wind, and chamber ensembles, and for ballet and opera. I currently teach flute students in my home studio.

Learned Finnish and proselytized for 18 months throughout ten Finnish cities. Attended executive council meetings to organize mission-wide initiatives, supervised 12 missionaries, conducted training and performance reviews. Set high goals in partnership with other volunteers & exceeded them. Developed interpersonal, management, team-building, and language skills.
