For over 14 years, I was the CEO of Denver's Early Childhood Council, a nonprofit organization that elevates the early childhood field through innovative and inclusive leadership, services, and advocacy. I led the Council's organizational and governance transition from fiscal sponsorship to 501(c)3 nonprofit, managed a diverse and talented staff of 27-30, and managed an annual operational budget of $3-4 million.I took time off to take care of my elder parents and teenager, but I’m ready to get back to it. My core competencies include cultural competency, community development, philanthropy, grassroots organizing, urban planning, and early childhood education. I have a strong passion for creating a community where the diverse needs of all young children and their families are supported, and a proven track record of building partnerships, securing funding, and implementing programs that achieve this vision. I hold a bachelor's degree in Urban Design and Architecture from New York University, and a Master’s degree in Urban Design and Architecture, with a concentration in Community Economic Development from University of Colorado - Denver. I am currently seeking new opportunities to apply my skills and experience. Happy to grab a coffee and discuss my experience.
