As the Chief Executive Officer, I provided leadership, direction, and strategic oversight to the Council. Responsible for overall agency success and execution of the strategic plan. Led the Council’s organizational and governance transition from fiscal sponsorship to 501(c)3 nonprofit. Managed an independent Board of Directors, as well as an appointed governing Council. Provided oversight of 27-30 staff with an annual operational budget of $3-4 million. The vision of the Council is that Denver is a community where the diverse needs of all young children and their families are supported.
