Hello!My name is Emily Walker and I am from Massachusetts. I am currently a student at Lesley University on track to get my BFA in Digital Filmmaking.During my time at Quinnipiac University, I minored in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies because I think it is so important to have intersectional voices heard, especially in predominantly male industries. I love expressing myself through music, painting and film. It is a rewarding feeling being able to tell stories and emotions through the art I create.I have always been exposed to film or media in one way or another. Since it is such a big part of my everyday life, I want to be able to contribute to it. Artistic-based careers focus around expressing your ideas and collaborating with others, this is one of the many reasons I want to stick with a future in film and media production. There is so much opportunity for me to make an impact with my work.
